Heavy Rain Alt Cover

Heavy Rain

Alternate Game Cover

Heavy Rain is a game soon to be released on the Playstation 3 and it seems there was a bit of backlash on the cover design for American gamers. People said it sucked. Kotaku, A website dedicated to dedicated gamers, then took matters in to their own hands and created a photoshop contest to design an alternatvie cover. Something less plain and with a little more flair! This is my entry into the contest.

Though I didn't win the contest, I was honored by a request to be added to a group on Flickr: Robocop on a Unicorn!

The Lift

The Lift

A short story.

Today begins the new work week with another foggy day in the City and thoughts of Tuesday. I believe that Tuesday’s are the new Monday. On Monday, you come to work, but at least you had an opportunity to relax on Sunday; to mentally prepare for work. Tuesday, you’re already into the workweek and the glow from the previous weekend has since been tarnished by the previous day. I say booo to today.

My commute ends with an escalator ride up from the warmth of underground tunnel. As I get closer to street level, I feel the cool, moist air breathe across my face. It’s such a refreshing feeling that seems to wash off the morning commutes grunge and prepare me for another day in paradise, as the cliché goes. [ continue ]

Advert for Sweet'n low

I had an idea for an Advert

Shuggah Daddy.

When going out on a date, I usually end up paying for both of us. Not because I feel obligated, but just because I want to. Don't get me wrong, it's nice when she takes me out and pays or even if we just split the tab. Well, that's not always true, it also depends on the bar tab too, but that's a whole other story.

The running joke with Rachel and I is that I am her sugar-daddy. I am not rich nor have the means to be a sugar-daddy, so jokingly, I said I was like a Sweet'n Low-daddy. Equating the similarity between real sugar and artificial sugar. After laughing a bit, we both agreed I was an artificial-sugar-daddy….I should trademark that.

I created this animated gif to illustrate the advertisement. The first picture is actually my friend, Derek, dressed up as Santa-Pimp during the holiday season pub crawl. The next was a costume picture of a sugar-daddy, compliments of Google images. The final, some of you may recognize as an actor, Jude Law. The point being that you (you being the targeted audience!) want a hot, famous, rich, Sweet'n low daddy, such as he.

Pancho Mikey

I needed a new Avatar

and I think I had Mexican food for lunch.

I like to keep my profile pictures fresh on my social sites. I look for inspiration around me, waiting for it to hit...

Across the Embarcadero, in San Francisco, there is a Mexican Restaurant, which has sadly been renamed because of changing of ownership. The restaurant formerly known as Pancho Villa's, was one of my favorite lunch spots and that is where I found the inspiration for an avatar, Pancho Villa!

RoboJesus

RoboJesus Lives!

it all started with Robocop & Unicorn.

The internet sensation of Robocop & Unicorn just cracked me up and gave me the inspiration to do something fun! I don't know who or when R&U started, but the images are fantastic! I am so inspired by the kooky things people come up with and that probably has a lot to do with my intranet addictions!

What can I do with Robocop? Hmm....Jesus? Yes! Just like Christ, Murphy came back from the dead. Both icons are symbols of the human spirit, and have cult followings. At least in my World they do! This might even make a great B-movie. I'll have to see if Bruce Campbell is busy.
